I'm a founder and commercial operator with 5+ years in DeFi and crypto infrastructure — spanning strategy, business development, and partnerships.
I founded Catalysis, DeFi's first vault-native risk coverage protocol — raised $1.3M pre-seed, hired an 8-person team, and closed 20+ partnerships with Tier-1 protocols including Morpho, Gauntlet, and EigenLayer.
Prior to that, I was product at Obol Labs and an engineer at Nethermind, Atlassian, and Amazon.
About Me
Hello! I'm Abhishek!
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from NIT Trichy, India. I'm equally comfortable negotiating commercial terms and separating real technical claims from noise — from product engineering at Obol Labs to founding Catalysis and shipping vault-native risk coverage on mainnet.
I've spoken at Restaking Day @ Token2049 Dubai, published peer-reviewed work on Catalysis Economics (MARBLE 2025), and built open-source tools like the Nakamoto Coefficient Calculator.

Founder & CEO @ Catalysis
October 2024 - August 2026
- Raised $1.3M pre-seed from Hashed Emergent, FunFair Ventures, and angels including Julien Bouteloup (Stake Capital); converted MEV Capital and Stake Capital from investors into commercial partners
- Closed 20+ partnerships including Morpho, Gauntlet, kpk, EigenLayer, Credora, RedStone, and EigenYields
- Shipped mainnet in April 2026 with coverage live on 3 Morpho vaults (Gauntlet, kpk, Steakhouse) and $1.5M covered TVL backed by restaked capital
- Secured $1.5M of committed restaked capital from EigenYields; engaged institutional EigenLayer restakers including EtherFi and P2P
- Owned fundraising, partnerships, tokenomics, commercial/legal terms, pricing, and hiring — recruited and managed an 8-person team
